Realme speaker cleaner: remove water and dust

Clean a Realme phone speaker by opening Speaker Cleaner in Chrome, setting media volume to maximum, holding the phone bottom-down and playing one to three 30-second runs. Realme's C and Narzo budget phones often use a single bottom speaker, so that's the one to clean first.

Where the speakers are on Realme phones

Hold the phone so the speaker you're cleaning faces the floor.

  • Main speaker: the grille on the bottom edge.
  • Earpiece: the slot above the display; on stereo models it also plays media.
  • Many C-series and Narzo models have a single bottom speaker.

Realme phones have no confirmed built-in speaker cleaner in realme UI. The cleaning sweep plays through the bottom speaker at maximum media volume, and sound effects in Settings › Sound & vibration should be turned off so the low frequencies are not reduced.

Clean your Realme speaker in 4 steps

  1. Open Speaker CleanerIn Chrome or your phone's own browser. Disconnect earbuds.
  2. Volume to maximumMedia volume, not ringtone volume.
  3. Speaker facing downBottom edge down for the main speaker.
  4. Press StartPlay up to three 30-second runs.

To clean a Realme phone speaker, open Speaker Cleaner in the browser, turn media volume to maximum, hold the phone with the bottom speaker facing down and play one to three 30-second runs. The 150 to 200 Hz sweep pushes water and loose dust out of the grille without any app.

Realme C-series and Narzo models commonly use a single bottom speaker, so that grille is the one to clean. On stereo Realme phones the earpiece also plays the sweep and can be cleaned with the phone held top edge down. The same steps work on every Realme model, including the Realme 7 Pro, Realme 9i and Realme C55.

If the sound doesn't come back

Let the phone air-dry for 24 hours, then test again. If it still crackles or stays silent, book a check at an authorised service centre: realme India service centre support. See also speaker cleaner for other phones.
