Speaker Cleaner

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information SpeakerCleaner Live ("we", "us") collects when you use speakercleaner.live (the "Site"), how we use it, and your choices. We have written it to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. The short version

  • The Speaker Cleaner tool runs entirely in your browser. It plays sound through your speaker and never accesses your microphone, camera, contacts or files.
  • We don't ask you to create an account and we don't sell personal data.
  • We collect limited usage and technical data to keep the Site working and to understand which features help people.

2. Information we collect

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our servers and analytics tools may record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language, referring page, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. We also record anonymous tool events, for example that a cleaning run started or finished, which mode was used, and whether you answered "Does it sound clearer?".

Information you give us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to improve the Site.

Information we do not collect

The tool does not record audio, does not request microphone access, and does not read any content on your phone.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and local storage to remember preferences (such as your language choice) and to measure how the Site is used. Some of these may be set by third-party service providers acting for us, such as analytics or advertising providers. Where they are set by third parties, their use of information is governed by their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the tool will still work without them.

4. How we use information

  • To operate, maintain and secure the Site
  • To understand which features and pages are useful and improve them
  • To respond to your messages
  • To detect and prevent abuse, fraud or technical problems
  • To comply with legal obligations

5. Sharing

We don't sell or rent personal data. We share information only with service providers that host, secure or measure the Site for us, under obligations to protect it; when required by law or a valid legal request; or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the Site.

6. Data retention

We keep technical logs and analytics data only as long as needed for the purposes above, generally no longer than 26 months, and emails for as long as needed to handle your request. We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to access, correct or erase personal data we hold about you, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and raise a grievance. Email support@speakercleaner.live and we will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children

The Site is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. Third-party links

The Site links to external sites, such as manufacturer support pages. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.

12. Contact and grievances

For privacy questions or grievances, email support@speakercleaner.live.
